I recently got this email from a practitioner who took my First Aid EFT seriously. Read about his unbelieveable (to the doctors) experience...

Hi Naomi,

Hope this email finds you doing well. I just wanted to give you a quick update with what is going on with me.

Considering my surgery and following the doctor's guidance I'm doing a lot of resting. The surgery went pretty well too. My biggest challenge is keeping the swelling down which makes it hard to sit up for any length of time, and yes I'm doing a lot of tapping.

I would  like to share with you a few things that happened when I had the accident. When it first happened I knew I had messed up my right ankle and had broken my left wrist. It was pretty obvious I was messed up. As I was laying in the dirt I knew I was going into shock so I started tapping as best I could. I slowed my breathing and just kept tapping. I was alone and my cell phone was in the house and I knew I needed to get to it. It took me 3 attempts to get up and get to the house while tapping as much as I could. I finally got to my phone and called my wife and 911 for help. I'm still tapping as I'm flat on my back on the floor. When the paramedics arrived and started checking my heart rate and other vitals they thought something was wrong with their equipment because all my vitals were normal. They couldn't figure out how this was happening. They asked if I was on any medications, which I said I was not.

Eventually I walked out to the truck and they took me to the hospital. During the ride they were talking about my vitals and were very confused they were what they were. That's when I had the chance to tell them about EFT and showed them how I was still tapping with my thumb and middle finger. I then told them about EBEFT and gave them Katie's name and yours. They both said they wanted to know more.

By now we were at the hospital where we had a repeat experience with the vital readings. They gave me medication but it didn't really do much, so I just kept doing my tapping. I was eventually given some medication to knock me out so they could work on my arm but nothing happened. So with 5 staff members in the room they decided to work on my arm with me wide awake and talking with them the entire time. They kept checking my vitals and I kept tapping with my thumb and middle finger. When they were done they left the room and a few minutes later one of them returned. When he did he told me there were 5 doctors outside my room who were very confused and could not understand how I was able to do what I had done.

This even carried on into the surgery experience where I never felt the need to take any of the pain meds they sent me home with. And, I'm still tapping just like you told me to do.

So now I'm the proud owner of a metal plate and 4 screws in my left wrist. When it heals I'm going to tattoo EFT next to the scar, lol.

Thanks, and I'll see you at our next Group Tapping Session.

PS
A couple of other things relating back to the accident, the paramedics couldn't believe I was 66 years old and not on any meds. The other thing came about 4 weeks after the accident when I was showing a handyman where my tools were. He was here helping me with projects that I'm now unable to do. He asked what had happened and where did it happen? I told him how it happened and then I pointed to the ground where he was standing and said, "It happened right there." He was shocked that I had no anxiety about being at the scene of the accident. I never really thought much of it.
